Creating a Plooto Account: In order to use our Platform you will need to create an account. We will collect certain personal information, such as your name, email address, mailing address, phone number, and username and password in order to administer your Plooto account. We strongly recommend that you do not disclose your password to anyone. We will never ask you for your password in any unsolicited communication (such as letters, phone calls or email messages). Using the Platform: In addition to the personal information we collect when you create a Plooto account, we will also collect information when you make or receive payments, onboard your supplier or vendors, use information related to Plooto services that is contained within your third party accounting and enterprise resource planning applications, add payees or access other services on the Platform. This information may include banking information, including account, institution, and transit numbers, transaction history, account balance, account holder names, and other data required to facilitate the transaction, such as contact and billing information of your vendors and suppliers. We collect this information for the purposes of processing and carrying out instructions to pay certain vendors or suppliers at your request. If you sync your Plooto account with a third-party integration, we may collect additional information such as accounting, operational, invoicing and payments related information that is stored within your third party accounting and enterprise resource planning applications.
Syncing your Plooto Account: You may choose to sync your Plooto account with a third-party integration, such as QuickBooks or Xero. In order to facilitate the integration, we may collect certain information, such as accounting, operational, invoicing and payments related information found within the third-party system for the purposes of enabling the two platforms to communicate and synchronize transactions as requested.
Marketing Communications: If you sign up to receive email marketing communications, we will collect your email address in order to send you newsletters, offers and promotions. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” link included at the bottom of each email.
